Welcome to VoteTicket. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") govern your use of our website and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by VoteTicket ("us", "we", or "our").

Please read these Terms carefully before using our Service. Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

Throughout these Terms, the following definitions apply:

• "Service" refers to the VoteTicket website, mobile applications, and all services provided by VoteTicket.
• "User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Service.
• "Account" refers to a registered user profile on the Service.
• "Event" refers to any event, activity, or gathering created on the Service.
• "Event Organizer" refers to the user who creates and manages an event.
• "Attendee" refers to a user who registers for or purchases tickets to an event.
• "Poll" refers to any voting activity or contest created on the Service.
• "Content" refers to all information, text, graphics, photos, music, software, audio, video, and other material posted or displayed on the Service.

Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. When you create an account, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activities that occur under your account.

Account Requirements

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You are using your true identity
• You have provided accurate and complete registration information
• You will maintain the accuracy of such information
• Your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law or regulation

Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Safeguarding your account credentials
• Restricting access to your account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to disable any user account, at any time, if in our opinion you have failed to comply with these Terms or if we suspect unauthorized or fraudulent use of your account.

User Conduct

When using our Service, you agree not to:

• Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to promote illegal activities
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Collect or harvest any information about other users
• Upload, post, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
• Upload or transmit any material that contains viruses, trojan horses, worms, or any other malicious code
• Engage in any automated use of the system, such as using scripts to send messages or upload content
• Attempt to circumvent any content-filtering techniques we employ

Events & Tickets

For Event Organizers

As an Event Organizer, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all event information
• You have the legal right and authority to create and host the event
• Your event complies with all applicable laws and regulations
• You are solely responsible for fulfilling any promises made to attendees
• You will specify and enforce a clear refund policy for your event
• We may remove your event if it violates our policies or applicable laws
• We act as a platform for ticket sales and are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of events

For Attendees

As an Attendee, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Ticket purchases are subject to the refund policy specified by the Event Organizer
• Tickets may not be resold, transferred, or duplicated without authorization
• You assume all risks associated with attending the event
• Event details may be subject to change
• We are not responsible for the conduct of Event Organizers or other attendees
• We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of events
• Events may be cancelled by organizers or by us for various reasons

Refund Policy

Refunds are subject to the policy established by the Event Organizer. Each Event Organizer may set their own refund policy, which will be displayed during the ticket purchase process. VoteTicket is not responsible for processing or issuing refunds, as this is the responsibility of the Event Organizer.

Polls & Voting

Creating Polls

When creating polls, you agree that:

• You will provide accurate and complete information about the poll
• You have the right and authority to create the poll
• The poll and its content comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• You will not create polls that promote illegal activities or discriminatory practices
• You are responsible for managing the poll and its results

Participating in Polls

When participating in polls, you agree that:

• You will comply with the specific rules and requirements of each poll
• You will not attempt to manipulate the results through automated means or multiple accounts
• Your vote may be subject to verification
• The final results are determined by the poll creator according to their stated methodology
• We are not responsible for the outcome or validity of any poll

Payments & Fees

Payment Processing

We use third-party payment processors to facilitate transactions on the Service. By making a payment, you agree to their terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of payment processors.

Fees

We charge fees for various services, including but not limited to:

• Ticket sales commissions
• Payment processing fees
• Premium features and services

Fees may be passed on to Attendees or absorbed by Event Organizers, depending on the organizer's preference. All applicable fees will be displayed before you complete a transaction.

Payouts to Event Organizers

Event Organizers will receive payouts according to our payout schedule, typically within 7 days after the event. Payouts are subject to verification and compliance with our policies. We reserve the right to delay or withhold payouts if we suspect fraudulent activity or violations of our Terms.

Intellectual Property

Our Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of VoteTicket and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

Your Content

When you upload, post, or share content on our Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and improving our Service.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to post any content you submit and that your content does not violate the intellectual property rights or any other rights of any third party.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoteTicket, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

The limitation of liability applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damage.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact us to request account deletion. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
